A: When drivers pass the skills driving test with the examiner they will be able to transport one non-family passenger.   After having an intermediate license accident and ticket free for 6 months (with drivers ed) or 1 year (without drivers ed)  drivers may transport unlimited passengers.  good question.  MH

Q. What exactly do I need to have to apply for your course? Such as documents and other such things. And approximately how long may your course take if you were to give an estimate?

A. You can register online and show up to a date you signed up for. You do not need to bring any identification documents to drivers Ed class. However you must show primary and secondary ID to get a permit or license for the first time.

The two day class plus 3 driving times each 2 hours takes about 2-3 weeks. Occasionally less if fewer drivers are in a class.

I am 19 and have almost no driving experience. I want to take Drivers Ed so I can learn to drive. Is your course for me too?

A: Yes, this is not as uncommon as you may think. Many of my drivers Ed students are 18 and older. Age 18-20 drivers may take the complete course or opt to drive by the hour.

Q: My son just turned 15. Can he take Drivers Ed now so he can get his permit the day he turns 15 1/2?

A: Yes. He can start Drivers Ed now.

Q.  So I understand that drivers 17 and under are required to bring a letter from a school documenting current enrollment.  I home school my child.  How am I supposed to get this letter?

A.  You in luck.  The form you need is right here.  Print this OKDPS Documentation of Homeschooling and bring it signed and notarized to the examiner. 

Q. My parent/guardian can't get off work to take me to apply for my license or permit.  
Since a parent/guardian must give signature permission am I out of luck?

A: Nope, you are in luck.  I have the form you need right here.  
Print this, complete, collect signatures, bring to examiner. That easy.

Drivers who complete my Drivers Ed Course after November 2012 will not be required to take a written test to receive their driving permit because of a new Oklahoma Law.

Kabesdad.com Driving School in Grove is late some of the time. Why?

Some my "first time drivers" have driven for years on a farm. More have got a few 'back road' drives in suburban and rural Oklahoma.

The challenge is to observe their driving behavior in just a few driving sessions.
